MTO - Calendar (Make-to-order)
Are you looking for colours and designs that are not part of our standard stock range but can be ordered in small quantities? The MTO calendar makes it possible.
As RENOLIT offers an exceptionally wide variety of colours, designs and embossed finishes, it is not economically or logistically feasible to keep every design in stock at all times. Special or less popular films are therefore produced to order.
The MTO calendar has been introduced to make this process as transparent, reliable and efficient as possible for you, the customer. It operates according to the following principles:
- Fixed production windows: The calendar sets out in advance, for the whole year, the calendar weeks in which specific colours and decors will be manufactured for you.
- Order deadlines (deadline / cut-off date): There is a clearly defined order deadline for each production window. If you require a specific MTO film, your order must be received by RENOLIT before this deadline so that it can be scheduled for the upcoming production run.
- Planning certainty: Thanks to the calendar, you know months in advance when your chosen film can be produced and delivered. This enables you to coordinate precisely with your own production schedules and your end customers’ completion dates.
- Sustainability and efficiency: Grouping orders around fixed dates reduces set-up times on the machines and minimises material waste. This conserves resources and helps to keep prices stable, even for bespoke products.
The MTO calendar acts as a link between individual design variety and industrial planning – it gives you the freedom to fulfil even unusual customer requests outside the standard stock range with a high degree of delivery reliability.
